Our Building

Our Photographer in Residence Alan Ainsworth has spent some time taking pictures of our building. Warwick Arts Centre was commissioned in 1970 and the project completed and building opened in 1974 – so we have almost 40 years of history to celebrate! The Arts Centre has undergone many phases of transformation and makeovers during its lifetime. Nowadays we are proud to host the newly refurbished Butterworth Hall; Mead Gallery; Cinema; Theatre; Studio; Helen Martin Studio, along with a cafe bar, restaurant and bookshop. We encourage visitors to spend time in our spaces – have a look around, bring a book, grab a coffee and take a look at our diverse artistic programme.
