Six Shows in Six and a half hours...

Thursday 26th August

Six shows in 6.5 hours is not to be recommended.  Luckily all were at the Pleasance so it was a short sprint and a bit of celeb spotting between gigs – well, Shappi Korsandi and Arthur Smith anyway.

After yesterday’s ramble (laptop crashed 5 minutes after arrival so having to blog from iphone – no more explanation required) – I am going to be concise.

Highlights were Laura Solon, who has improved on her last show with more characters and stronger comedy; sitting behind Phil Jupitus at The Penny Dreadfuls who laughed like a drain in the strangest of places; and spending an intimate hour with Nathan Caton and the other 5 people who turned up for his show.

Low point: wanting to leave Hans Tweewen because I was bored and tired but not daring to in case I was thought to be one of the handful who were leaving in disgust.

More from the fringe tomorrow.
