Brian Bishop is Education Director at Warwick Arts Centre. In post since 1996, he has greatly expanded the work of the Department particularly in the area of home-grown arts education projects primarily focusing on children/young people in schools. Prior to working at Warwick Arts Centre, Brian was Head of Education at the Belgrade Theatre Education Department, Coventry for 2 years having previously been an actor/teacher with the Belgrade Theatre in Education (TIE) Company for 12 years devising, writing and performing new TIE programmes for city schools. He trained in Drama at the New College of Speech and Drama and Exeter University and was a drama teacher for a number of years before coming to Coventry.
Carly trained in Modern Drama Studies at Brunel University, then worked with Turtle Key Arts, The Pleasance and Sutton Theatres on several shows as a stage and production manager. After working on a TIE tour to schools, she then joined the Sutton Theatres education department devising and leading drama workshops, providing project support and working as a liason officer between schools and the theatre. Carly moved from the South to the Midlands in 2003 and joined the Warwick Arts Centre Education Department.
