Boys Dancing gets started

Tuesday 2nd February

To Henley in Arden yesterday to see the first practical activity of our Boys Dancing project for 2009/10.  Had a great time watching a group of boys from Henley in Arden High School giving up a week of their summer holidays to make a dance film with Dave McKenna of Being Frank Physical Theatre.

The boys were choreographing and rehearsing in their school’s new dance studio but the film will be shot in Henley’s Guild Hall in the centre of town.  Fantastic to see a group of such dedicated, focused and skilfull young people working hard to make something new – pics of their devising and rehearsal work during the week will be on the website soon as will the finished film.  Keep it up lads, it’s looking good.
