Effervescent, high-spirited, vocally brilliant, a work of comic genius: Rossini’s masterpiece The Barber of Seville is a favourite with audiences around the world. ETO’s new production, directed by the exciting and imaginative Thomas Guthrie and conducted by an experienced master of Italian opera, Paul McGrath, stars Nicholas Sharratt as the roguish young Count Almaviva and Kitty Whately as Rosina.

Sung in English Translation. English surtitles will be displayed for the performance on Sat 12 May.

“The time whizzes by. Hugely entertaining and highly recommended.” The Stage

““In this production ETO has a sure fire hit on its hands. As a scintillating evening of high quality entertainment it’s hard to beat.” **** Opera Britannia

  • Hi

I work for Live 24-Seven magazine and I would like to include the English Touring Opera in our May issue in the What's On section. I wondered if you had a couple of hi-res images you could email to me to use alongside the listing.

    Many thanks and kind regards
