We are thrilled to have the highly-regarded Russian pianist, Nikolai Demidenko, as this season’s recitalist. His particular speciality is Beethoven and Chopin, so his choice of repertoire in this evening’s programme will be something truly special.
In the first half of the recital he will perform three Beethoven sonatas, including the ever-popular Pathétique and Moonlight sonatas.
The second half of the concert will be devoted to Chopin and will be concluded with perhaps his greatest piano sonata in B flat minor, with its contrasting shades of darkness and light.

Butterworth Hall
With a maximum capacity of 2000 standing or 1500 seated this concert hall has an outstanding natural acoustic and is the home of our International Concert Series, as well as the majority of our music gigs and big name comedians. Butterworth Hall has recently had a £6.9 million redevelopment and reopened in autumn 2009 .

We are a promotions agency who are currently working on behalf of Countertenor Greg Pritchard.
We are asking if you could supply information of costs and conditions for your theatre as Mr Pritchard is currently putting together a Classical Recital: 'with accents of theatre', he has a pianist who accompanies him so a piano of a suitable standard is needed, at this time he is still arranging for a third instrumentalist
We would also like to know if you have a ticket booking system at all that we could use, if so what would the cost be.
We are looking for bookings in the summer time through to the Xmas period.
