Ruby Wax - Losing It?
Starring Ruby Wax and Judith Owen
Sat 8 May 2010 7.30pm
Theatre £20
Director: Thea Sharrock
Ruby had it all – career, dream house, husband, kids – but people soon realised something was wrong when she painted her house the same colour beige for the 47th time.
There was only one thing for it – send her to the Priory!
Ruby Wax’s acerbic wit and worldly wisdom combined with Judith Owen’s touching and poignant songs create a show that is at once vulnerable and surprisingly thought-provoking as well as being laugh-out-loud funny.
Ruby Wax’s monologue is underscored by the shimmering, reflective music of Judith Owen.
“Ruby Wax is on razor sharp form. I laughed and I cried. Don’t miss it!” Adam Helliker, Sunday Express
Ruby Wax originally studied psychology as a teenager at Berkeley in the United States, before leaving for England to become a comedienne and TV presenter.
Over the past four years Ruby Wax has returned to her original calling, training as a psychotherapist and studying for an MA in Neuroscience.
Ruby wrote a book on her relationship with her parents, How do you want me?
Ruby also recently appeared at the Edinburgh festival as part of the Headroom campaign.

Ruby, I've always admired you and you're truly funny.
My mum called me when they were reporting about Loosing It on the news. Thank you for being open about your depression. I was depressed for nine years, it's truly a dark experience. Thank you again and to your friend too.
All the best with the play and I pray it never comes back to haunt you again.
Regards Ada.
