Tim Key 'The Slutcracker'
Sun 20 Feb 2011 7.45pm
Studio: £10.50 (£8.50)
Tim Key (chubby/stylish) will wear a suit and drink lager for an hour or so.
This show – a combination of poetry, film and athletic clambering – won him the Edinburgh Comedy Award (formerly the Perrier) in 2009.
Key is the swarthy bard from Charlie Brooker’s Newswipe (BBC4) and the pretty question master from We Need Answers (BBC4).
“He’s a genius, plain and simple.” Time Out
“In any other sphere apart from comedy, we’d probably class this way of looking at the world as certifiable. Here it feels like genius.” The Telegraph

I (portly/unkempt) rejoiced at the fact that Tim Key will be visiting the largest arts centre outside of London (did you know that?).
