  • Please can you tell me how long 'We're going on a bear hunt' lasts? We have 3-year-old grandchildren and wonder if it's going to be too long a programme for them.

Sandy Foster at 2:06pm on Sat 18th Aug 2012

  • Hi Sandy,

Bear Hunt is 55mins long with no interval, which may be too long for some 3-year olds, but fine for others - we'll leave that to your judgement!

We'll update the website with that information now.

  • Hi, what would you say is the upper age limit for a child to enjoy this please?

viv at 6:31pm on Fri 19th Oct 2012

  • Hi Viv,

Bear Hunt is a great family show, and we'd like to think that people of all ages will enjoy it! A suggested upper age limit would be 12 years old, but honestly, anyone still in touch with their inner child will love Bear Hunt.

    Best wishes,

  • Would love to take my boy to this show, however, we have recently had a new addition to our family. Are babes in arms ok to come along too? Hope so! Think it would be a lovely Christmas treat for my older son.

Sarah at 9:20pm on Wed 24th Oct 2012

  • Hello Sarah,

Babies are absolutely fine to come too - you won't need to buy a ticket for them, but you will need to obtain a free Baby Pass so that they're accounted for! Please call the Box Office on 024 7652 4524 and someone will be able to assist you.

  • Echoing Sarah, I'd like to take my 3 yr old but will probably have his 11 month old in tow due to lack of babysitters. Would I have to buy him a ticket too or is there a babes in arms price for under 1 or 2's as at many panto's?

  • you've said in the info above that bear hunt is interactive. Does that mean that children are free to move around and go to the front of the stage?

  • Will Michael Rosen be making an appearance at all? If so which date/dates please? My grandson loves him!

Paul Maddocks at 5:57pm on Sat 10th Nov 2012

  • Hi Sinéad & Paul

Sinéad - The show is only interactive in that there's lots of songs and bits of the story for children to shout and sing along to; children are encouraged to stay in their seats for the performance.

Paul- Unfortunately Michael isn't scheduled to make an appearance during the run, but he'll be there in spirit!

  • There has been some confusion with regards to the Baby pass regulations, and an error was made in one of our comments above, which has now been deleted. The correct info is as follows:

Babies aged UNDER 2 may receive a free baby pass to the show, but children aged 2 AND OVER must have a paid ticket to ensure they have a seat for the show.

    Apologies for any confusion caused.
