“Who is is that can tell me who I am?”
An ageing monarch. A kingdom divided. A child’s love rejected. As Lear’s world descends into chaos, all that he once believed is brought into question.

I think these screenings are great idea, especially for those of us who don't have the time or finances to see the performance in London. Unfortunately all the showings clash with other things for me so I haven't yet managed to see any of them! More of these on different days please (not Mondays and Thursday!!)

Hi Lucinda
Thank you for your feedback. These are proving to be very popular with our audiences and we hope to continue with this part of our programming. Unfortunately, due to the nature of these screenings, i.e. they are broadcast live throughout the UK, the scheduling is done by the National Theatre Live team. However, we will pass on your feedback to the team at the National Theatre.
I hope you can make it along to one of the forthcoming National Theatre Live events.
With best wishes
