With a darkly humorous Napoleon Dynamite type plot this undeniably cool film by Jason Reitman (director of Thank you for Not Smoking) won the top prize at the Rome film festival recently.

After a bout of awkward sex with her dorky on/off boyfriend Bleeker (Cera), Juno (Page), finds herself pregnant at sixteen and decides to shoulder the full responsibilities of her iffy situation. Endowed by Diablo Cody's effusive script with a hipster lexicon as large as her swelling stomach, Juno - with a worrying lack of emotion - quickly decides to put her unwanted newborn up for adoption.
