Simon Amstell made his name as the presenter of Popworld - Channel 4's weekly pop programme. In his youth, Amstell was the youngest finalist of the BBC New Comedy Awards.

It didn't take long for Nickelodeon to see his potential. Then came Popworld which Simon co-hosted with Miquita Oliver for six years.

He has been heard on XFM, standing in for Adam and Joe on Saturday afternoons, and on Radio 2, presenting Lenny Bruce is Dead and covering for Mark Radcliffe. In 2005 he hosted Channel 4's coverage of the Wireless Festival, and in 2004, the V Festival.

Simon performs regularly on the stand-up circuit and has had sell-out shows at the Pleasance during 2005 and 2006's Edinburgh Fringe Festival. This is his return to the stage with a brand new stand up show.

Simon recently won an RTS Award for his work on Never Mind the Buzzcocks.

"As close as you can get to a man emotionally and philosophically disembowelling himself on stage" The Times

"Intellectually sophisticated, engagingly honest, genuinely accomplished stand-up" The Scotsman

"Simultaneously challenging and playful, delivered with a self-aware charm and a wonderfully sharp mind - and just a few of those sneery put-downs he's so good at on telly, just to keep the fans happy. It all points to an intelligent comic who is becoming better almost by the day" Chortle

Show contains strong language.
