A night of theatrical improvisation.
In Coventry and at Warwick Arts Centre over recent years, the spectre of improvisation has frequently wandered, frightening the gatekeepers of Old Theatre and generally unsettling the Wise. In the presentations of Fence Crossing, E.S.P., Pilot and Shifti, local and international performers have - with little more than their wits and skill - walked on to stages and allowed the momentum of the event to make performances occur.
Shifti (A Short Festival of Improvisation) presents pieces of theatre that defy convention, parade spontaneity and generate character, story, humour and conflict.
