Butterworth Hall £18.50 Sold Out: Please call the Box Office for returns
Despite having walked off with Best Live Band at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards an unparalleled five times, Bellowhead are clearly a band with considerable boundary-crossing appeal.
The 11 piece, who play more than 25 instruments between them (from Helicon to frying pan) and seamlessly merge English folk, world, jazz, rock and music-hall influences are one of the few bands performing today who can dart effortlessly between the establishment and the fringes.
“Wild, joyous, perverse, bold, crazed, full-blooded, intricate, fearless, funny, epic and mostly BIG. Best live band we have. No contest.” fRoots

I've been to many festivals and gigs over the years and this band is one of the best live bands if not the best i have ever seen, they had the audience riveted for the whole performance, sheer brilliance.
