under the radar: Beneva & The Fallows

Beneva create contagious melodies with harmonies galore. They can switch from heart-felt epics to quirky radio friendly songs with ease.
With Nathan Bennett on Piano/Vocals/percussion and Malc Evans on Guitar/Vocals, their voices blend together so well that reviewers have compared their overall sound similar to Simon and Garfunkel, The Beautiful South, Supertramp and even elements of The Beatles.
The Fallows are a four piece Folk/Rock/Celtic Band from Coventry. This is real music from real life. Every lyric and note is carefully crafted from pieces of stories, past feelings and the hope of new experiences. Bags of great songs and energy promise a gig that is buzzing with passion.

I am not familiar with The Fallows, but I am familiar with Beneva, having seen them several times. They are a brilliant duo. This sounds like a very enjoyable evening!

The Fallows are a Coventry band that have been converting local and London venues to their acoustic based music. They have also played this year at Festivals as diverse as Collaboration (Lechlade), Godiva, Evesham Big River, George To The Dragon (Oxford) & Napton Folk n Boat.
An ALTSounds Review concluded; "On first evidence, The Fallows certainly possess a raw talent, an ability to deliver sharp lyrics, combing them effortlessly with a gratifying sound, there is a strong possibility a big and bright future lies on the horizon."

Beneva are looking forward to playing three new songs as well as our favourite 'greatest hits'. We'll be playing as a full 5 piece band with Matt Bennett on drums, Anthony Harty (Style Council, The Selecter) on bass and Gina Ormesher on synths! Don't miss this special event!
