Madeleine Peyroux 2011
Tue 3 May 2011 8pm
Butterworth Hall £27.50, £25
Supported by Warwick’s Kel Elliott Trio
French-American jazz songstress Madeleine Peyroux makes a welcome return to Warwick Arts Centre with her full arsenal of delicately sultry compositions and renditions.
With hits such as Careless Love and Don’t Wait Too Long, Madeleine Peyroux has earned her spot amongst jazz/blues divas such as Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald – artists to whom she is often compared. With a warm, perfect blend of melancholy and carefree ingrained in her music, her voice is as chillingly vivid as it is a powerhouse of emotion. The Things I've Seen Today
