The Divine Comedy
An Evening with Neil Hannon
Wed 17 Nov 2010 8pm
Butterworth Hall: £17.50
Fresh off the back of a well-deserved Ivor Novello nomination for his work with his cricket-crazy side project, the Duckworth Lewis Method, The Divine Comedy’s Neil Hannon is hitting the road on a UK tour this Autumn.
The Divine Comedy is Neil Hannon. Over the years the name has encompassed other musicians, but the driving force of the band and its main (sometimes only!) member has always been Neil Hannon.
Hannon’s new single I Like is released on 1 August 2010. The opposite of a soppy, sappy ballad, it’s set to the kind of ecstatic motown stomp that makes toe-tapping an inevitability.
Butterworth Hall
With a maximum capacity of 2000 standing or 1500 seated this concert hall has an outstanding natural acoustic and is the home of our International Concert Series, as well as the majority of our music gigs and big name comedians. Butterworth Hall has recently had a £6.9 million redevelopment and reopened in autumn 2009 .

Hi
Can you tell me if The Divine Comedy performance will all be seated or will there be space for dancing?

Hi
There are some standing tickets at the front for those people who would like to dance. There is also seating - all of which is tiered to enable the audience to see over the people who will be dancing.
Hope this helps

Hi Alex,
Support from the fantastic Irish singer-songwriter Cathy Davey will begin at 8pm, followed by The Divine Comedy after the interval.
See you there!

Hi Kaye
You certainly can use theatre tokens for tickets for this evening's gig (although you cannot book online with them)- and there are still tickets available!
Enjoy!
