Under the Radar: Stylusboy / Fiona Cox / Chris Tye

Hailing from Berkshire, Fiona Cox came of age in California in the dawning years of the 21st Century. Citing influences such as Joni Mitchell and Joan Baez, Fiona’s beautiful vocal delivery soars through intricately crafted original material with an emotional force that breaks hearts as often as it impresses. Stylusboy is the acoustic creation of Steve Jones, a Coventry bred guitarist and vocalist. He has already gained a strong following with his intimate live performances that have seen him play alongside Newton Faulkner and The King Blues, as well as enchanting the crowds from the mainstage of the Godiva Festival.
Chris Tye marries delicate, gorgeous indie-folk with a city-dwelling, carefree romanticism. In his latest EP, Matchbox Stand, he has captured the beauty and charm of his live performances, as well as bringing a larger sound with more focused production to the table.
