“The best young poet around” (Observer) and Radio 4’s Saturday Live regular presents The Petty Concerns Of Luke Wright: An exploration of ego through poetry and comedy.
Featuring some nipple-tweakingly awful teenage lyrics, sarcastic cricket commentators and an anti-plagiarism message from John Cooper Clarke.
Luke wrote Channel 4’s Alternative Valentine’s Day Message for 2009 entitled, The Seven Ages Of Love, which was seen by over a million viewers. He’s extensively toured the UK for six years, including with award-winning poetry boyband Aisle16, and co-wrote Who Writes This Crap? (Penguin, 2008).
“The hard-working heir to John Hegley” The Guardian
“The Petty Concerns is an amazing show” Phill Jupitus.
