Following their incredible yet well-deserved success at the 2009 Edinburgh Festival, French Dance Company Arcosm’s Echoa has become a worldwide hit, attracting audiences of all ages.

Capturing such humour and beauty; musicians and dancers combine until they incredibly merge and echo to form one great wall of sound using instruments, an impressive set and each other’s bodies to magical effect.

Suitable for lovers of dance, physical theatre and outstanding family work, the performers onstage find enormous pleasure in the choreography through exploration of the bodies; as if they have a life of their own uncontrolled by their owner.

The fabulous score includes the tango, the cha-cha and a childhood music box.

“A ‘Stomp’ for the younger set, ‘Echoa’ is an hour of pure creative fun” What’s On

“It’s hard to conceive of anyone – of any age – not loving Echoa. This innovative show is a masterclass in how to engage a multi-generational audience… Rarely is contemporary dance so instantly accessible and fun, eliciting peels of giggling laughter from young mouths alongside adult guffaws” The Scotsman (5 stars)

“There is magic to be found in this piece as the artists exhibit the totality of their art; polyphonic voice, dance, music and theatre.” La Mareillaise du Var

“…a joyful piece, full of echoes – in which each minute brings us a new experience.”

  • This show is fantastic - music, dance & comedy blended to appeal to adults. children dance enthusiasts and non dance goers. My 6 year old loved it and laughed his socks off at the funny bits (& so did I!)
