CloseRhinoceros in Love has flourished for the last eleven years since its debut at a Beijing theatre in 1999. Since then, this classic drama has been staged more than 260 times nationwide and over 200 universities have produced their own versions of Rhinoceros in Love. The story has been regarded as the love bible by this generation.
This year, Warwick Chinese Drama is proud to present this legendary production in Butterworth Hall. The annual Warwick Chinese Drama production has been considered the ‘most expected’ event of the year among Chinese-speaking communities for the past two years. We are also keen to provide the highest quality drama production for all audiences and so have fully translated the script.
Butterworth Hall
With a maximum capacity of 2000 standing or 1500 seated this concert hall has an outstanding natural acoustic and is the home of our International Concert Series, as well as the majority of our music gigs and big name comedians. Butterworth Hall has recently had a £6.9 million redevelopment and reopened in autumn 2009 .

I saw this play the other night as it toured to my city, I was wondering where I could get a copy of the English script - desperate to read the beautiful lines again.
