Multiple Olivier Award winners, director Richard Jones (Annie Get Your Gun, The Good Soul of Szechuan at the Young Vic) and writer David Harrower (Blackbird, Knives in Hens) team up for a new version of this classic comedy featuring The Mighty Boosh‘s Julian Barratt, Smack the Pony‘s Doon Mackichan and the ‘superb’ Kyle Soller (Daily Telegraph on The Glass Menagerie)
The news that a government inspector is due to arrive in a small Russian town sends its bureaucrats into a panicked frenzy. A simple case of mistaken identity exposes the hypocrisy and corruption at the heart of the town in this biting moral satire.
A classic with an exciting new cast and a highlight of the season. See this exciting new production before it opens in London at the Young Vic.
