It’s Make it Reel time again – our annual summer film school and we’re doing things a little differently this year. We decided to use flipcams to create the films, giving us faster download and editing times and allowing the young people taking part to see their results quicker.
It also means they’re able to practice with them right from the start and see what they’ve created within a few minutes, so on day one they shot some trailers! These aren’t the trailers for the main films they are going to make this week but are great practise for the whole pre-production, production and post-production phases.
