Butterworth Hall Gala Concert Feedback

On Wed 7th October 2009 the Butterworth Hall at Warwick Arts Centre reopened following a year-long multi-million pound redevelopment.
The Philharmonia Orchestra performed the Gala Opening, conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen. Here is what members of the orchestra had to say.

The Gala concert did not live upto the expectations. The orchestra lacked verve and the performance was not astounding at all. In comparison the St Petersberg Symphony Orchestra yesterday were a clear winner!
