Conductor Lorin Maazel and the Philharmonia have been awarded a five star review from The Guardian for their recent performance at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall. With the interpretation of Mahler’s First Symphony described ‘superlatively atmospheric’ and ‘you could swear you heard cicadas in the strings’, you really won’t want to miss this fantastic orchestra when they visit Warwick Arts Centre on Wed 4 May.
