Our Spring Season is now on sale!

Below are some seasonal highlights, and across our website is further information on our exciting line-up of theatre, comedy, music, dance, opera, spoken word, art and family shows!

In addition to the theatrical heavyweights Out of Joint, and Cheek by Jowl, our Theatre programme includes plenty of emerging new work. Mogadishu has been pinned as a contender for ‘play of the year’ by The Daily Telegraph, and is a cutting-edge exploration of the clash of youth, class, race and justice in today’s society. Don’t forget that our theatre package gives you 20% off each ticket when you book three events or 25% off each of four ticketstake a look at the events included in this offer.

The season’s NT Live programme continues to deliver the best of British Theatre broadcast live via satellite to screens at Warwick Arts Centre. We welcome Nicholas Wright’s Travelling Light starring Antony Sher, a light-hearted good laugh to beat away those January blues in The Comedy of Errors starring Lenny Henry, and She Stoops To Conquer with Katherine Kelly.

Our Spring Dance programme welcomes international companies offering something a bit different. Dance Touring Partnership presents Blanca Li Dance Company, with an exciting mix of Parisian street dance, breaking, disco and an amazing soundtrack in Elektro Kif. In April, award-winning Canadian choreographer Dave St-Pierre brings his provocative and controversial show, Un peu de tendresse bordel de merde! (A little tenderness for crying out loud!) to us as part of the International Dance Festival Birmingham 2012.

We welcome two rare musical treats which bring acclaimed musicians together on stage for a celebration of their talents. The Floating Palace unites Robyn Hitchcock, KT Tunstall, Abigail Washburn, Eliza Carthy and Howe Gelby to accompany one another on a range of familiar and unfamiliar songs. To commemorate the Queen’s Daimond Jubilee Tour, the Royal Philarmonic Orchestra presents the Classic Women concert, featuring Alison Balsom on trumpet, Nicola Benedetti on violin, Natalie Clein on cello and Lesley Garrett on soprano. Spoil yourself or a loved one – and crack open the musical champagne!

In our Mead Gallery you won’t want to miss The Indiscipline of Painting an international group exhibition including works by forty-nine artists from the 1960s to now selected by Daniel Sturgis. Opening Sat 14 Jan, admission is free and a rare chance to see important works by Andy Warhol, Frank Stella, Michael Craig-Martin and Bridget Riley.

Those with little ones won’t want to miss Charlie & Lola or the much-loved Tell Tale Hearts company with its new show, From Here … to there and One Little Word, a beautiful and gentle story of friendship, power struggles and the rich world of creative play.

Book online or call the Box Office on 024 7625 4524.
