Covid Secure Summer Events

Monday 17 May 2021

We have two events this Summer, The Language of Kindness (20-22 May 2021) and Petticoat Council (15-17 June 2021), that will be staged in accordance with government guidelines to ensure safety.

If you want to attend either of our two Summer events, please book in advance. This is so we can communicate all the relevant information to you timely.

To help you enjoy your chosen performance and visit to Warwick Arts Centre, we have introduced some safety measures. These include:

  • Contactless ticketing: E-Tickets will be issued to all bookers. These can be shown on a device or as a print out to gain entry to the auditorium.
  • Same household / bubble booking groups.
  • 2m social distancing measures.
  • Additional signage throughout venue.
  • Hand sanitising stations in the building.
  • Regular enhanced cleaning of auditorium / toilets / frequent contact areas.
  • In line with government guidance, all visitors and staff are required to wear a face covering whilst in the building (unless exempt for health reasons).
  • Participation in NHS Test & Trace: All visitors will need to scan in on arrival at the venue.
  • Contactless payment only: All of the University of Warwick campus is now cashless.
  • We have reduced the capacity in the auditorium to reduce proximity to other audience members and retain social distancing.
  • Audience members will be required to sit in their allocated seats and enter via a given door number when called.
  • We're operating a strict no latecomers policy, (our team will do their best to exchange tickets for another performance of the event if you arrive late).
  • Both shows will run without an interval and there is no re-admittance to the auditorium.
  • Bookers will all receive a pre-arrival email with more details a week before their visit.

If you have any questions in advance of your visit, please contact the Box Office Team. The team are working remotely, but can be contacted between 10am – 4pm from Monday to Friday via If you have any concerns during your visit, members of staff will be on hand to help.

Please do not attend the event if you:

  • Believe you may be infected with COVID-19.
  • Have experienced symptoms in the last 14 days.
  • Have been in close proximity to anyone who has experienced symptoms in the last 14 days.
  • Have been instructed to self-isolate.

If you are unable to attend your chosen event as a result of a Covid-19 diagnosis at the time, and can demonstrate a positive test, we will refund the value of your tickets. Please note that our booking fee is non-refundable.
