The weather may be hit and miss, but you can rely on Warwick Arts Centre’s family programme to keep children of all ages entertained, come rain or shine! The highlight of the half-term programme this summer will be our Sunday Funday on Sun 2 Jun, with lots of free events for the whole family to enjoy.
The Sunday Funday starts at 10am on Sun 2 June. Come and join us on a search to find the brightest star, hidden somewhere in the arts centre. In the Mead Gallery, you can design your own super plant, or make your own flowers to go in our in-door meadow. There will be space to have a picnic, and an opportunity to take part in a cake-baking competition! There’ll be music in our foyer from an Indian ensemble, featuring exciting new instruments and sounds, plus music from the Squeezebox Man!
Live shows on the day included Trestle Theatre’s beautiful Indian-themed take on the Hans Christian Anderson tale The Snow Queen for ages 6+. There’ll also be a performance of The Poetry Joe Show for ages 3-6, featuring Joe from the CBeebies show Rhyme Rocket, and due to popular demand, we’ve just announced an additional performance of the previously sold-out show Star at 12pm on Sun 2 Jun!
So whether it’s art, music, theatre or poetry, there’s something for all the family to enjoy on our Sunday Funday! Click here to find out more about all the events taking place.
