Having sold out twice at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2013 and 2014, the beatboxing legend Beardyman is currently on his UK tour presenting his new show One Album Per Hour.
From basic techno music, to explosive rave combined with metal and reggae, his performance demonstrated once again the artist’s remarkable capabilities of transcending the barriers of spontaneity into genuine masterpieces. All ten studio-quality compositions were based upon title suggestions from the audience, which were then filtered
and plucked from a hat on stage to form the basis of each track. Koalas, drugs, anal beads and “funky, swollen hamsters” bewitched the frenzied crowd and proved to be the leading roles of the show.
The vocal wizard managed to create and manipulate unimaginable sounds with a thundering wit, offering a “silky hot” trail of songs for the enchanted spectators.
