On Sat 14 May, the whole of Warwick Arts Centre is going to be full of music. As well as two performances of Rifco’s Bollywood musical Laila, our foyers and the Butterworth Hall will be playing music from all over the world.
Warwickshire Music Service and the University’s Music Centre are joining forces to bring together Warwick University student musicians with young musicians from across Warwickshire. You’ll hear from the Warwick Chinese Orchestra and the Indian Music Ensemble, while primary schools share the sounds of steel pans, djembes and samba. They’ll all come together in the Hall at 1pm for a mega concert – finishing in plenty of time for the Laila matinee.
