We’re Going On A Bear Hunt will soon start its run at Warwick Arts Centre, so we had a lovely chat with their stage crew ahead of the show. Have a read of the following and keep your eyes peeled for more interviews coming soon…
Hello everyone! Can you introduce yourselves to our young readers?
Hi I’m Charlie the Company Stage Manager, and I’m Jordan and I am the assistant stage manager for the show.
You might not see us but we’ll be working hard behind the stage making sure everyone else has everything they need to go on a successful Bear Hunt!
Lovely to meet you both. Are you excited to go on a Bear Hunt at Warwick Arts Centre?
Of course, what could be more fun, it’s a great way to spend the day! We’ve heard there are some big bears in the area so looking forward to finding one.
What is your favourite part of it?
Our favourite part is having fun with all the family, going on an adventure together is always exciting! And also watch them go through the river as they have to go through it and it’s a little wet – we’re so happy we don’t have to it!
Do you have any good songs to sing on the way?
Plenty! When going on a hunt it is important to have lots of songs to help you on your way – You won’t want to stop singing when you have to leave!
We have a lot of little ones coming on an adventure with you. What should they expect?
A messy fun time with some great songs. And lots of surprises!
Now, a serious question… are you scared?
Wellllll, we’re not not scared…?!
After the show, what other kind of hunt would you like to go on?
Not sure, maybe something like a dragons hunt… Or considering the time of the year, mince pie hunt, they are our absolute favourite!
Finally, since we are getting closer to Christmas… What would you like to find in your stockings?
Maybe a Sat Nav so we don’t also get lost in the woods. We like gadgets!
