Live Events and Hires

The Live Events team oversee the Artistic Programme; that's the live comedy, music, theatre and dance that takes place in our venues. Alongside this, we're also responsible for the various community, conference and event hires.

We have to maintain a carefully balanced programme of different artforms to cater for a wide array of people. We work with large orchestras from around the world, internationally acclaimed dance troupes and nationally renowned Theatre companies with their latest tours.

As a touring venue, we very rarely produce any work ourselves, although we commission many works every year. Our Associate Producers, China Plate, work with us to find new work and help develop it to bring it to our audiences and audiences around the country.
