The University of Warwick is currently undertaking a transformation of campus. Whilst the works are happening there will inevitably be some disruption. We are aiming to keep this to a very minimum, however, please allow extra time for your journey. Click here for up to date information on the road works.

Ever wondered what contemporary art is all about? What exactly post-modernism is but were too afraid to ask? Why is a black bin liner half full of gallery air a piece of art?

In this informal introduction to contemporary art, artist and independent arts consultant Gill Nicol will be looking at the last fifty years of art to explore how and why artists break away from traditional ways of working and where art can be anything. This fun talk is aimed at anyone curious to know more and there will be opportunities to ask questions.
