Invited to “meet the parents”, Rose (Williams) takes boyfriend Chris (Kaluuya) for a weekend getaway at her family’s estate. At first, Chris reads the family’s overly accommodating behaviour as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter’s interracial relationship but, as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly bizarre discoveries lead him to an unimaginable truth. A deceptively funny and completely disturbing American nightmare.
