Join us for an introduction to stage makeup, where you will learn how to use light and shadow to transform youthfulness into old age and then get to grips with gore by creating cuts, bruises, scabs, warts and wounds.

With 20 years’ experience working within the film, tv, theatre and media industries, Kate Griffiths has delivered workshops and tuition to students across the UK sharing her knowledge and passion for the subject. She has worked on projects with Twentieth Century Fox (Wolverine), Coco-Cola, Boots, NHS, L’Oreal and numerous more big brand names as well as creating and designing makeup for immersive experiences, Panto and especially for independent horror films where her specialism in horror makeup comes alive!

As with all makeup, if you have sensitive skin, you could experience an allergic reaction to the various putties, latex and liquids. During the morning, we will patch test anyone who has doubts and concerns.
