The seminal British comedy returns to the big screen. Featuring career-defining performances from Richard E Grant and the late, great Richard Griffiths, it remains truly hilarious and eminently quotable.

Withnail and his companion (McGann) are desperate to escape the reality of their life as two unemployed and perpetually drunk actors living in a squalid flat in London. They decide to seek respite in the countryside, hiding out in a cottage belonging to Withnail’s Uncle Monty (Griffiths). But their inability to look after themselves leads to much hilarity, particularly when Monty turns up unannounced.
