Heralded as a ‘cinematic masterpiece’ upon its release in 1963, Fellini’s semi-autobiographical comedy drama has lost none of its inventiveness, wit or flair.

On the back of a hit, famed film director Guido (Mastroianni) is suffering from an artistic crisis – all the elements are there for another film, but he has nothing to say. While he struggles to work on his latest project, he recalls his past as reality and fantasy mix.
