British filmmaker David MacKenzie, with Sicario writer Taylor Sheridan, produces a heist picture with a satirical edge.

Tanner Howard (Foster) is an unrepentant hell raiser who has somehow managed to stay out of jail for a year. Law-abiding Toby Howard (Pine), estranged from his wife and two teen sons, may lose his family ranch if he can’t raise the cash to pay off the mortgage before the bank forecloses it. The brothers team up to quickly and effectively plan a sequence of bank robberies which puts them on a collision course with a West Texas Ranger (Jeff Bridges) determined to take them down.

“Elegiac Texan western that packs a dizzying punch” ★★★★ The Guardian
