Both Sitting Duet was the piece that established Burrows and Fargion’s reputation, setting the tone for an original mix of humour and fierce intelligence that marks out what they do. This first performance is followed by Body Not Fit For Purpose, a commission from the 2014 Venice Biennale which clashes politics against the empty joy of dancing, unravelling the link between meaning and action and raising questions in the midst of our laughter.

For the second evening, Burrows and Fargion present Any Table Any Room, inviting four local artists to join them onstage. Using 72 clay objects created by the performers, communal singing and Indian drones on smartphones, Any Table Any Room is an exploration of the pleasures and demands of being and working together as a community.
