Coventry artist Emma O’Brien will be leading drop-in art activities at Coventry Cathedral for children of all ages, inspired by the work of John Piper

The activities will focus on drawing the old cathedral ruins, so please dress appropriately for working outdoors. The drop-in sessions are free, no booking is required and all materials are provided.

You can see a major exhibition of works by John Piper at the Mead Gallery, Warwick Arts Centre, from Tue 1 May – Thu 21 June (open daily; free entry). The Gallery also offers a range of hands-on art activities for all ages and there is the opportunity to contribute to the creation of Warwick Arts Centre’s own giant stained glass window, inspired by John Piper and Patrick Reyntiens’ design in Coventry Cathedral.
