Spend the day with award winning chocolatier David Greenwood-Haigh learning how to make a variety of delicious hand rolled truffles and filled chocolates.
This workshop will cover everything you need to be able to make your own professional quality truffles – and of course, you’ll get to take home everything you make.
You’ll be greeted with a mug of real hot chocolate, then you’ll get a brief talk on the history of chocolate before learning how to taste chocolate using all of your senses.
Next, it’s your turn! Our chocolatier will guide you through the process of making the perfect ganache, rolling and dusting in cocoa powder, packaging and taking your finished chocolates home. You will also get to make your own chocolate bar topped with your choice of ingredient.
David Greenwood-Haigh is a MasterChef member of the Craft Guild of Chefs and award-winning chocolatier with more than 35 years’ experience working in the food industry. He is also an international chocolate consultant and food awards judge. David makes exceptional and inspiring chocolates using only natural ingredients.
Participants do not need to bring anything. Everything will be provided, including aprons.
