Grown-ups never understand anything by themselves, and it is tiresome for children to be always and forever explaining things to them…

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s enchanting and enlightened story of The Little Prince is perfectly retold in Luca Silvestrini’s new show.

The young boy’s fascinating life-story journeys through the exasperating world of grown-ups, describing meeting a king who reigns over nothing and encounters with a businessman obsessively counting stars and a vain man craving admiration from all who pass by.

Combining Protein’s trademark mix of dance, music and fun, audiences are invited to re-imagine the world through their hearts and reconnect with the child in all of us.

“Saint-Exupéry’s enigmatic tale…delivered with quirky charm. Prendergast is touchingly excellent in the title role” ★★★★ The Observer

“Charming, imaginative and playful” ★★★★ The Stage
