A two day introduction to the traditional art of stained glass using the Tiffany style copper foil technique.

Over the two days, you will be taught how to make your own decorative sun-catchers and will produce at least two pieces to take home. During day one, you will work from a pattern to learn how to cut and select glass for a project, grind copper foil and solder the glass together to make a small sun catcher. Day two will be spent working from your own design or a range of available patterns to create a bespoke piece .

Wendy Foxton is a freelance stained glass artist working from her studios in Lichfield. She uses traditional techniques to create unique freestanding, hanging and three-dimensional pieces that offer a modern take on a traditional art. She undertakes commissions nationally to design and make leaded lights and restoration work, and also runs classes in her studio, in schools and with craft groups.
