For its Warwick Arts Centre debut, the Swedish Philharmonia performs Jean Sibelius’ second symphony, Tchaikovsky’s only concerto for violin, and the joyful A Merry Overture. Written in 1954, it’s an all too rare chance to hear a piece by Gävle-born composer Bo Linde - and what better way to experience his work, than with an orchestra who arguably know him best?
The soloist is rising star Serbian-French violinist Nemanja Radulović, whose captivating appearances with leading orchestras across the world have amassed him a legion of loyal fans.
