Butterworth Hall

With a maximum capacity of 1500 this concert hall has an outstanding natural acoustic and is the home of our International Concert Series, as well as the majority of our music gigs and big name comedians.

Theatre

Seating up to 550, audiences are assured of an excellent view of the stage and comfortable seating in this well-designed auditorium. The theatre stages the best national and international plays and performances, as well as contemporary and international dance, music and comedians.

Studio

With an intimate feel, this 180 capacity theatre has a flexible seating arrangement, which suits small-scale theatre, comedians and the occasional music event.

Cinema

With dolby digital sound and air conditioning, our 220 seater cinema stages the best independent cinema 364 days a year.

Mead Gallery

One of the biggest exhibition spaces in the Midlands, the Mead is a cool, white, light space presenting touring shows and newly curated exhibitions during term times. It is located above the Cinema and is open from noon to 9pm Monday to Saturday. Admission is free.
