Code of Conduct

We believe that the arts can inspire curiosity, creativity, learning and conversation. As a Brave Space, we encourage the respectful exchange of different ideas, experiences and perspectives. We recognise that some artistic work and discussions may challenge us, and we ask everyone to engage with openness, empathy and consideration for others.

We expect all visitors, artists, staff, volunteers and partners to contribute to an environment where everyone feels valued, respected and able to participate.

We will not tolerate behaviour that undermines the safety, dignity or wellbeing of others, including:

• discrimination, harassment or bullying
• abusive, threatening or intimidating language or behaviour
• hate speech or conduct targeting protected characteristics
• unwanted or persistent attention towards others
• violent, aggressive or antisocial behaviour

Everyone attending Warwick Arts Centre must follow the reasonable instructions of staff and comply with our Terms and Conditions. Anyone whose behaviour causes harm, distress or significant disruption to others may be refused entry or required to leave the premises without refund.
