Music At Warwick
The Music Centre is in the heart of campus inside Warwick Arts Centre. Everything we do in is for all students and staff to enjoy. Although there is no music degree at Warwick, we pride ourselves on having music making opportunities for everyone.
Ensembles
With more than twenty ensembles, there are plenty of opportunities for getting involved in the musical life of the University. All our ensembles are run by students, and several have professional directors. We cater for all standards, from complete beginners to more experienced musicians, the majority of groups are unauditioned - and everyone is welcome to join in or come along to one of our many concerts.
Tuition
We have a fantastic team of visiting professional musicians who offer individual vocal and instrumental tuition, as well as coaching ensembles, running masterclasses and leading a variety of workshops. Lessons are available for all students, from beginners to more accomplished players.
Music Scholarships
The Music Centre offers three types of financial assistance to students at the University, for students from all disciplines. Scholarships and Exhibitions are awarded to undergraduates only, and Bursaries are available to all students.
Get Creative
There are plenty of ways to get creative with music too at the Music Centre, from songwriting, music production, to composition and improvisation. Email the Music Centre if you have any queries, our Team would be happy to help you.
