Practical Visit Information

Here are some practical questions answered that will help your visit go as smoothly as possible, but if we haven't covered something, please contact us and we will do our best to help.

I'm arriving with my group by minibus or coach, where do I go?

Advice to minibuses and coaches changes depending on what events are happening on campus, the age of the children in the group and the number of vehicles expected.  Once your tickets are booked, you'll receive a ticket confirmation which will include the latest details.  If you're still unsure, please contact Group Bookings on groupbookings@warwick.ac.uk in advance of your visit.

I need to write a risk assessment for my visit, do you have one I can use to reference?

Yes please find our most up to date risk assessment at the bottom of this page.

I have other questions to answer about my visit on our school trip form, can you help?

Yes of course, please send any forms to creativelearning@warwick.ac.uk.

I'd like my group to eat lunch/tea at Warwick Arts Centre as part of our trip, do you have somewhere we can sit?

We'd love to say yes every time to this question but it very much depends on what else is happening in the building on that day, whether we have space available and any other restrictions related to Covid-19 that we might be under.  Please contact groupbookings@warwick.ac.uk to enquire what might be possible.

If it is nice weather, there are plenty of open green spaces near to the Arts Centre where you can eat as a group.

We're coming to see a show, is there anything else we can do whilst we're there?

Yes definitely! Our fantastic new Gallery will be open from May 2021 with a free exhibition. If you are a large group, let us know you're coming and we can be ready to greet you.

You could also watch a film as part of your visit in one of our 3 new cinemas or take part in a creative activity in the Creative Learning Space.

We also have hundreds of artworks on campus, which are grouped together in a free trail for you to follow, and we can also arrange a guide. Please contact the Creative Learning Team to discuss your requirements.

We're coming to an event but are running late/stuck in traffic, what shall we do?

Please call our box office team on 024 7652 4524 who will get a message to our front of house team, thank you!

What toilet facilities are there for my group to use?

We have toilets on both the ground floor and first floor levels, separate for male and female, easily accessible from all of our spaces. We also have accessible toilets located in the Butterworth Hall concourse. Please note that Warwick Arts Centre is a busy venue open to the public, and children and young people should always be accompanied to the toilet.
