School Visits:  Frequently Asked  Questions

Here are some practical questions answered that will help your visit go as smoothly as possible, but if we haven't covered something, please contact us and we will do our best to help.

I'm arriving with my group by minibus or coach, where do I go?

Advice to minibuses and coaches changes depending on what events are happening on campus, the age of the children in the group and the number of vehicles expected.

Once your tickets are booked, you'll receive a ticket confirmation which will include the latest details. If you're still unsure, please contact Group Bookings on groupbookings@warwick.ac.uk in advance of your visit.

I need to write a risk assessment for my visit, do you have one I can use For reference?

Yes please find our most up to date risk assessment at the bottom of this page.

I have other questions to answer about my visit on our school trip form, can you help?

Yes of course, please send any forms to creativelearning@warwick.ac.uk.

I'd like my group to eat lunch/tea at Warwick Arts Centre as part of our trip, do you have somewhere we can sit?

We'd love to say yes every time to this question but it very much depends on what else is happening in the building on that day, whether we have space available and any other restrictions we might be under.

Please contact groupbookings@warwick.ac.uk to enquire what might be possible. If it is nice weather, there are plenty of open green spaces near to the Arts Centre where you can eat as a group.

We're coming to see a show, is there anything else we can do whilst we're there?

Yes, definitely! Our fantastic Gallery has incredible, free exhibitions open during term time. We have artist designed resources that you can take advantage of too! If you are a large group, let us know you're coming and we can be ready to greet you.

You could also watch a film as part of your visit in one of our 3 new cinemas.

And we have hundreds of artworks on campus as part of our free Sculpture trail. pick up one of the many trails we have or be in touch for digital copies ahead of your visit.

Please contact the Creative Learning Team to discuss your requirements.

We're coming to an event but are running late/stuck in traffic, what shall we do?

Please call our Box Office team on 024 7649 6000 who will get a message to our Front of House team, thank you!

What toilet facilities are there for my group to use?

We have toilets on both the ground floor and first floor levels, separate for male and female, easily accessible from all of our spaces. We also have accessible toilets located throughout the building.

Please note that Warwick Arts Centre is a busy venue open to the public, and children and young people should always be accompanied to the toilet. Find out more about the building facilities.
