Relaxed performances are specifically designed to welcome people who will benefit from a more relaxed performance environment, including families with young children, people with an Autism Spectrum Condition, sensory and communication disorders, or a learning disability. There is a relaxed attitude to noise and movement and some small changes made to the light and sound effects.
Our next relaxed performance is:
- Wilde Creatures
Sun 9 Dec 2018 11am
This performance is designed to welcome audience members who will benefit from a more relaxed environment in the theatre. The performance itself will remain the same but the usual light and sound effects will be adapted to make the space as welcoming and accessible as possible. Audience members are able to make noise and use electronic devices to enhance their enjoyment of the show. They are also allowed to come in and out of the show as they wish and we will have a break-out space available before, throughout and after the performance for anyone who wants to find a quiet space away from the action on stage.
- Wilde Creatures Sensory Space
Sun 9 Dec 2018 10am-4pm
Drop-in, no need to book
Suitable for ages 5+
If you are joining us for the relaxed performance of Wilde Creatures (see above) why not come and join us in our Creative Learning Space in the lower foyer for some free sensory play and creative activities. The room will be open all day so also great if you need a little break from the performance.
