Simon Faithfull is an English artist based in Berlin whose work has been widely exhibited internationally and is held in collections including Centre Pompidou, Paris; Arts Council Collection, UK; and the UK Government Art Collection. Simon Faithfull’s practice often involves elements of failure and anti-heroism. His works revolve around research and experiments and he is cited as trying to measure the world in order to check whether it exists and whether, when absent, he also still exists.
Ben Roberts is Public Programme Coordinator at Camden Arts Centre and previously worked as a Dean of the Brown Mountain College of Performing Arts and as Director of Tiffin Projects.
In this special illustrated talk, Simon Faithfull and Ben Roberts will introduce The World Turned Upside Down, which they co-curated, and provide an insight into the development of an exhibition.
The talk is immediately followed by the exhibition’s opening party – a free event in the Mead Gallery to which everyone is invited; no booking required.
Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment by calling the Box Office on 024 7652 4524.
